Backend	Represents a plugin that runs on the agent and performs monitoring of host and applications.
HostPollingAction	An action to be performed at a regular interval as part of a HostPollingBackend implementation.
VmPollingAction	An action to be performed at a regular interval as part of a VmPollingBackend implementation.
VmUpdate	This interface can be used to query the performance counters of a monitored JVM when they are updated.
VmUpdateListener	A listener that can be registered to receive updates for a JVM's performance counters.

Agents are responsible for collecting data from and interacting with target JVMs. This package provides the interfaces and helper classes to implement the entry point of this - Backend. The backend represents a particular implementation that collects some particular piece of data or interacts with a JVM in a particular way.
